The Role We are searching for an Interior Designer who brings a refined design eye, strong client relationship skills, and confidence in leading projects from concept through installation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-obsessed, and committed to maintaining the elevated aesthetic and service standards of Root’d Design Studio.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the full design process: conceptual development, space planning, FF&E, and custom furniture

• Create detailed drawings, renderings, specifications, schedules, and presentation materials

• Manage multiple active projects with clarity and grace across varying phases

• Maintain project documentation including binders, samples, schedules, and material libraries

• Coordinate procurement, vendor communication, sourcing, and site visits

• Prepare and present design presentations including mood boards, palettes, and sample trays

• Support seamless execution from design to install through proactive project management

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years experience in high-end residential interior design

• Proficiency in 3D modeling (SketchUp preferred), along with strong technical drafting skills

• Familiarity with construction documents, millwork, and custom fabrication

• Strong written and verbal communication, with confidence leading client conversations

• Advanced organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

• A deep understanding of luxury finishes, materials, and vendor resources

• A collaborative, positive attitude with initiative to grow and adapt

• Desire to uphold and champion Root’d’s design aesthetic
