Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Interior Designer to bring creative visions to life across a variety of residential and commercial projects. Duties

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client goals, incorporating elements such as color theory, lighting design, and spatial planning.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D visualizations using software tools including SketchUp, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design intent clearly.
• Prepare precise drafting and construction documents utilizing CAD programs like AutoCAD and Revit to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional requirements while providing expert guidance on material selections, finishes, lighting fixtures, and furniture.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively through strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and construction teams during renovation or remodeling phases to oversee quality control and adherence to design specifications.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, assessments of existing conditions, and supervision during construction or installation phases.
• Assist in lighting sales by recommending appropriate lighting solutions that enhance ambiance while meeting technical specifications.
• Draft contracts and scope of work documents in collaboration with legal teams or project managers to ensure clarity of deliverables and responsibilities.
• Stay current on industry trends in interior design, lighting technology, sustainable materials, and innovative software tools to continuously elevate your work quality.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam for PDF markup and collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of drafting standards, construction processes, remodeling procedures, and contract management.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Knowledge of lighting design principles coupled with experience in lighting sales or specifying fixtures is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with budgeting practices for interior projects including cost estimation and resource allocation.

Pay: $56,638.01 - $68,209.21 per year
