Junior Interior Designer (Female) – Luxury Home Goods Store

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer with strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and a high willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will support the showroom’s layout, assist clients with design guidance, and prepare simple design files. A neat, well-groomed, stylish appearance and professional behavior are essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesShowroom Layout & Interior Styling

• Arrange showroom products according to luxury design standards
• Select and coordinate colors, lighting, textures, and accessories to create a cohesive space
• Assist in window display design and updating showroom décor

Client Assistance

• Provide layout and styling advice to clients in the showroom
• Help clients choose products, colors, and combinations based on their interior needs
• Support the sales team by offering professional design input during client consultations

Design Tasks

• Create simple layouts, mood boards, and basic design presentations
• Update product images, design files, and internal catalogs
• Produce quick sketches or basic renders (as expected from a junior level)

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and management teams
• Develop strong product knowledge for furniture, lighting, and accessories
• Execute tasks with accuracy, organization, and time efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in interior design or visual merchandising
• Strong skills in space planning, color coordination, and styling
• Basic proficiency in at least one design software (3D Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Ability to create mood boards and simple presentation files
• Neat, well-presented, stylish appearance — Mandatory
• Strong sense of taste and design aesthetics
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• English proficiency (advantage)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in rendering
• Experience in window display and showroom styling
• High creativity and ability to generate new ideas

Work Environment

• On-site role in a luxury showroom
• Direct interaction with high-end clients
• Close collaboration with sales and management
• Weekend or flexible hours may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
