Our firm is seeking an Interior Designer with strong design, construction knowledge and communication skills to help develop our firm's client-based services. The Interior Designer will work with the Director of Design to implement new solutions for client needs, and will be responsible for interior design concepts for these projects. The successful candidate for this position will have an eye for interior design and a talent for bringing new solutions to our growing list of clients. MUST UNDERSTAND CONSTRUCTION, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN DRAWING IN SKETCHUP, UNDERSTANDS LUXURY DESIGN.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute the vision of a client.
• Organize space in an efficient and functional manner.
• Evaluate materials based on the client's needs and preferences.
• Recommend products that are customized to the client's needs.
• Design custom solutions to problems, such as limited space or other architectural issues.
• Create computerized renderings of designs.
• Research new developments in interior design and furniture and equipment manufacturers.
• Find artisans and contractors to help with specific aspects of construction.

REQUIREMENTS:

BACHELOR OF ART OR INTERIOR DESIGN

AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN EXPERIENCE

MUST UNDERSTAND THE PHASES OF CONSTRUCTION

MUST HAVE A HIGH END LUXURY DESIGN EYE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
