Interior Designer

Job Summary
Join our boutique design team in Bethesda, MD! We are seeking both part-time & full-time positions centered around design, sales, and exceptional service.

The Interior Designer is responsible for residential design projects that involve a high-level of detail in custom products and interior design services for the home. Skills needed to support this role involve space planning, professional measuring, selection & calculation of product, workroom coordination, vendor management, and implementation of interior design principles to create our signature Kellogg look. The Interior Designer must be comfortable working independently on projects, yet respectfully collaborate with the retail team to mutually build the Kellogg brand. Developing strong customer relationships is essential. Traveling to client homes is expected.

Responsibilities

We are open daily at our Bethesda location! We value our team’s work-life balance, so while weekends are part of the role, we focus on rotating those shifts and providing two consecutive days off whenever possible.

• Experience in home decorating and design, particularly in a retail shop preferred
• Excellent administrative, organizational, communication, and tech skills
• Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities
• Appreciates a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree or similar preferred
• Reports to Store Manager

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
