Interior Designer

About the Role

DBL - Design Build Live Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly creative and experienced Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who combines strong design aesthetics with technical expertise and project management skills to deliver functional, innovative, and client-focused spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts aligned with client requirements, project objectives, and brand identity.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, space planning layouts, and detailed design presentations.
• Create 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, and Lumion.
• Produce detailed working drawings, specifications, BOQs, and documentation.
• Conduct client meetings to understand project scope, preferences, timelines, and budgets.
• Present design proposals and implement revisions based on feedback.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and color schemes within approved budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, site supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure execution aligns with approved designs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience in interior design (construction or real estate sector preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, Lumion, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Excellent design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation efficiently.
• Knowledge of modern design trends, sustainable materials, and innovative solutions.
