We are seeking a talented Interior Designer with experience in high-end residential construction who understands both elevated aesthetics and the practical requirements of spec home development.

Position Overview:
The Interior Designer will be responsible for leading the interior design process from concept through completion across multiple custom spec home projects. This role requires strong design instincts, organizational skills, and the ability to select materials and finishes that align with our brand, target buyer profile, and project budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cohesive interior design concepts for luxury spec homes, including material palettes, color schemes, and finish selections
• Select and specify all interior finishes including flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, paint, and trim
• Prepare detailed finish schedules and specifications for construction documents
• Collaborate closely with ownership, architects, and construction team to ensure design intent is executed properly
• Visit job sites regularly to review progress and ensure quality and consistency
• Source furnishings, staging elements, and accessories as needed for marketing and sale of homes
• Maintain relationships with local vendors, showrooms, and suppliers
• Ensure selections are on schedule and aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Stay current with market trends and buyer preferences in the luxury residential segment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential interior design, preferably with luxury or custom homes
• Strong understanding of construction processes and residential detailing
• Excellent taste level with a portfolio demonstrating high-end residential work
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Local South Florida market knowledge preferred
