Interior Designer

Job Summary
Runland Renovations is seeking a passionate and innovative Interior Designer to transform spaces into inspiring, functional environments that reflect clients’ visions and needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential remodels. As an Interior Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional results that elevate interior aesthetics and optimize space utilization. This is a new position we are adding and are excited for someone to bring experience to help create it.

Duties

  • Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client goals, budget, and style preferences.
  • Meet clients at vendors to help pick job materials.
  • Meet with clients at office to help pick job materials.
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using software.
  • Prepare accurate construction documents and specifications utilizing AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and CAD drafting techniques.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently through project management best practices.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors during renovation and remodeling phases to ensure design integrity and quality standards are met.
  • Present design proposals confidently to clients using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite tools to visualize concepts effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency in interior design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max (3ds <PERSON>), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong drafting skills with a solid understanding of CAD standards and construction documentation processes.
  • Knowledge of lighting design principles, lighting sales strategies, renovation techniques, remodeling processes, and construction management.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies to oversee timelines, budgets, contracts, and client communications effectively.
  • Ability to apply color theory thoughtfully in creating harmonious interior environments.
  • Experience in handling contracts related to interior projects and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and collaborating with team members.
  • 2 year of relevant work experience is a plus but not a requirement. We encourage all to apply.
  • A college degree in design is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
