As an Interior Designer for KM BUILDERS, you'll be responsible for guiding and assisting clients in choosing all their interior design selections. You'll escort them to various showrooms and suppliers to find options for flooring, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, paint colors, which are catered to their style and budget. Each project will challenge you to create unique designs that are customized to different client preferences. This is a client-facing role, so professionalism—including appropriate appearance and attire—is essential. We are open Monday to Thursdays.

Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s in Interior Design.
- Experience in high-end residential interior design, preferably remodeling.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Knowledge of materials and their applications
- SketchUp experience required.
- Understanding of aesthetics, proportion, spatial planning, color theory, textiles, and materials
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work in-office four days per week
Additional Expertise
- Master's Degree
- Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management software
- Familiarity with high-end material sourcing and vendor coordination
- Experience coordinating directly with project managers and trades during active construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and presentation software (Canva or Adobe Suite)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating color pallets and material specifications for all interior finishes.
- Prepares and conducts client presentations.
- Participate in client presentations and act as a representative of KM BUILDERS.
- Lead the full design process for multiple residential projects from concept through completion
- Conduct client meetings and site visits with professionalism and clear communication
- Review vendor quotes, bids, and revisions to ensure accuracy and alignment with project scope and design intent
- Oversee the development of CAD drawings, elevations, and detailed design documentation
- Coordinate closely with the construction team to support proper execution and maintain design consistency in the field
- Manage all design selections including cabinetry, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and finish materials
- Maintain organized records of all selections and project documentation throughout each phase
- Communicate proactively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to support timelines and project flow
- Collaborate with internal teams on showroom updates, marketing visuals, and project photography as needed
