Interior Designer

Netta Architects is a nationally recognized, award-winning architecture firm with over 33 years of experience and offices in New Jersey, South Florida, and New York. Our team of 75 professionals, including licensed architects, interior designers, and LEED-accredited professionals, delivers high-quality design solutions for complex public and private projects nationwide, with a strong portfolio throughout New Jersey.

We are seeking a talented designer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects across building sectors, working alongside award-winning architects and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support design efforts from early concept through construction documents.
  • Prepare finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, millwork details, and FF&E specifications.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with architects, consultants, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with Building Codes, accessibility (ADA/FBC Accessibility), and life-safety requirements.
  • Develop presentation materials for client meetings and design reviews.
  • Participate in construction administration, including submittal review, responses to RFIs, and site visits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional design experience in an architectural or design firm.
  • Exceptional design ability with strong aesthetic sensibility, and the ability to translate ideas into fully developed interior environments.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, detailing, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and presentation tools.
  • Understanding of building codes and accessibility standards.
  • NCIDQ licensure or on track certification preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
