Job Overview
We are seeking several talented and detail-oriented Interior Designers with a strong background in custom residential design, construction drawings, and project management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about seeing projects through from concept to completion—including fully furnishing and styling luxury homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute full-service residential designs from initial concept through final installation
- Produce detailed construction drawing sets (floor plans, elevations, cabinetry, details, etc.)
- Produce detailed cabinet dratings
- Create 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp to support design development and client presentations
- Coordinate closely with builders, architects, and contractors throughout all project phases
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design intent are maintained
- Source and specify furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes for fully furnished homes
- Prepare and present design concepts, materials, and selections to clients
- Oversee procurement, track orders, and assist with installation and styling
- Collaborate with internal team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in a residential interior design firm (custom homes preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required)
- Experience creating complete construction drawing sets
- Strong understanding of residential construction and detailing
- Experience managing projects and coordinating with builders and vendors
- Strong design sensibility with the ability to execute both architectural and furnishing selections
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
