JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Interior Designer at ArkCo, you will collaborate with our design and construction teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute innovative and functional interior spaces. You will be responsible for creating designs that meet client needs, project budgets, and timelines while maintaining adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong design portfolio, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop creative interior design concepts aligned with client requirements and brand identity.
• coordinate detailed designs, including space planning, renderings, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, construction coordinators, and clients to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget.
• Conduct site visits to oversee design implementation and ensure quality control.
• Maintain project documentation and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships, presenting design concepts and responding to feedback promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial interior design projects.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite and Programa
• Familiarity with NYC building codes and ADA compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Bi-lingual: English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible Schedule: Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
