Job Title: Interior Designer

An Interior Designer (Fitout) is responsible for planning, designing, and furnishing interior spaces in villas, or industrial settings. They combine creativity and technical knowledge to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet client needs and comply with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget
• Develop design concepts, layouts, and mood boards
• Create detailed drawings, 2D/3D plans, and presentations
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors
• Manage project timelines and budgets
• Visit project sites to supervise progress and ensure quality
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and safety standards
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and service providers

Required Skills

• Creativity and strong design sense
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, etc.)
• Knowledge of materials, lighting, and color theory
• Project management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and client-handling abilities
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field
• Proven experience or portfolio of completed projects
• Certification (optional but preferred, depending on country)

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
