Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our boutique interior design firm and support our growing portfolio of healthcare, commercial, multifamily, and hospitality projects. In this role, you will collaborate with senior designers throughout all phases of the design process—from concept development and sourcing to presentations and installations. You’ll assist with creating mood boards, drafting floor plans, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where thoughtful design and technical precision are equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of concepts from schematic design through installation
- Prepare drawings, presentations, and materials using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Research and source materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with project needs and budgets
- Input specifications and assist in the creation of project spec books
- Help coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors
- Participate in site visits, installations, and client meetings
- Support project documentation and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with senior designers and project managers on multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for interior design trends and a keen understanding of spatial planning.
- Working knowledge of interior design standards, materials, and building codes
- 2 years+ of professional experience in commercial design.

Pay: $59,169.00 - $62,516.00 per year
