Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, outgoing designer to assist our retail and builder customers with selecting their interior finishing needs. We are a family owned and operated flooring retailer with a beautiful showroom located in Maple Grove Minnesota. We supply & install carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, LVT/LVP, ceramic tile, and countertops. We are family orientated, faith first, flexible, treat others the way you want to be treated company. Key Responsibilities

• Through self-research and meeting with our valued and trusted reps, you will learn about the different products we offer and stay up to date on the newest styles.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets; translate these insights into innovative design solutions.
• Manage multiple projects from concept through construction, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Following all jobs through completion with open and constant communication with the homeowners, contractors, builders and the Grand Design estimating, scheduling and field staff.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Design experience is preferred, but training could be provided for the right candidate.
• Experience in managing projects from initial concept through completion.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in project management and budgeting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of contracts related to interior design services and construction oversight a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in interior design, technology tools such as 3D rendering software and MS office applications.
• Because we know the importance of family, we try to be flexible with schedules, but we will require a willingness to work one Saturday a month (9am-1pm) and possibly one late night (until 7pm) a week.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
