About the Role
Lavish Interiors is seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer to drive the design vision and curate every detail of our luxury home staging projects. This is a pivotal leadership role—you'll manage a talented team of 2 interior designers/stagers while personally selecting and approving every furniture, accessory, art, and rug piece that goes into our installations.
In this position, you'll attend design layout meetings with ownership to align on project vision, travel to premier furniture markets (Las Vegas and High Point, North Carolina) to source new inventory and build vendor relationships, and ensure every staged property reflects the Lavish Interiors standard of excellence. You're not just decorating rooms—you're creating the foundation of our business. The quality and cohesion of your work directly impacts our reputation with high-end real estate agents and our ability to win new staging projects throughout Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated expertise in luxury residential staging, and the ability to translate vision into flawlessly executed installations. You thrive on collaboration, take ownership of design quality, and communicate confidently with clients and team members alike. You're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where your aesthetic decisions directly impact client satisfaction and our company's reputation.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee Design Cohesion: Review and approve all accessory, art, and rug selections curated by your team to ensure visual harmony, design excellence, and alignment with project vision for each room.
- Conduct Quality Reviews: Perform regular design reviews to verify projects meet quality standards, brand expectations, and client specifications before installation.
- Attend Design Layout Meetings: Collaborate with ownership on design layouts for staging and design projects to communicate creative vision, make collaborative decisions, and ensure successful project execution.
- Attend Furniture Markets: Travel to furniture markets in Las Vegas and High Point, North Carolina to identify new products, build and strengthen vendor relationships, and source inventory that serves future staging projects.
- Mentor Market Attendance: Select and mentor one or both team members to attend markets as appropriate, expanding their design knowledge, vendor network, and professional capabilities.
- Coordinate with Ownership: Provide market insights, product recommendations, and strategic input to inform purchasing decisions and long-term design direction.
- Manage Office Operations: Work from our North Phoenix office, coordinating daily team activities, project timelines, and inventory management.
- Attend Special Events: Participate in special events and occasional Saturdays as required to support company initiatives and client projects.
