We’re looking for a creative, organized, team-oriented Interior Designer with professional residential experience to join our team. This Designer will be working on multiple projects including renovation, new construction, and furnishings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team to work on high-end new construction and renovation projects.
- Develop space plans, material & finish selections, and presentation materials.
- Produce construction drawings, FF&E schedules, specifications, and installation documentation.
- Specify lighting, hardware, and custom millwork.
- Coordinate with builders, architects, vendors, and in-house cabinetry resources throughout the construction and installation process.
- Attend site visits
- Specify furnishings and soft goods (sofas, upholstery, window treatments, rugs, pillows, and accessories); create furniture layouts, ensure scale and proportion, assist staging and final placement during installations.
- Maintain project budgets and client communications.
- Attend team design proposals to clients and support the studio’s turnkey installation process.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 1+ years residential interior design experience (studio or agency preferred).
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with 3D rendering software (Enscape, or similar) preferred
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E, lighting, and residential construction process and methods.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, professional, driven, and confident with a high work ethic.
- Portfolio demonstrating concept-to-completion residential work and technical drawings.
