Interior Designer – 2D/3D Design & Project Coordination

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Designer with expertise in 2D design and a passion for creating exceptional interior spaces. Proficiency in 3D rendering is a strong plus. The ideal candidate will contribute to all phases of the design process, from concept through completion, including mood boards, site measurements, technical drawings, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• 2D Drawings & Technical Documentation: Create accurate 2D drawings for floor plans, elevations, and technical layouts, adhering to project specifications.
• Concept Development & Mood Boards: Collaborate on mood boards to convey design ideas, materials, and finishes that align with project objectives and client preferences.
• Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings to meet aesthetic and functional project needs.
• Site Measurements & Drawings: Perform precise site measurements and translate them into technical layouts and drawings.
• Project Management: Oversee project execution from concept to completion, applying project management methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency. Manage budgets and timelines, coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, and uphold quality standards.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to define project goals and create detailed, customized design plans.
• Supplier & Site Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials, and monitor site work to confirm adherence to design specifications.
• Procurement & BOQ: Support procurement processes, source materials, manage project budgets, and prepare accurate bills of quantities for contractors.
• 3D Rendering (Preferred): Assist in transforming 2D designs into high-quality 3D renderings to enhance client presentations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with 2D drawing software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Familiarity with 3D rendering software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and design specifications.
• Knowledge of material selection and procurement within the interior design field.
• Strong organizational skills for site visits and supplier coordination.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and see them through from concept to completion.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with mood board creation tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign).
• Knowledge of local suppliers, materials, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in advanced 3D rendering software (V-Ray, Corona Renderer, or Blender).

Remuneration will be Monthly Salary + Commission
