Position Overview
Crest Home Solutions is seeking an Interior Designer to join our driven team. This is a client-facing, sales-supportive role with a primary focus on cabinetry for upscale residential remodels, new construction, and multi-family projects.
This position specializes in taking ownership of cabinet-specific consultations, presentations, and client relationships. The ideal candidate is confident designing custom cabinetry and comfortable guiding clients through design selections, pricing, and decisions in a polished, professional manner.
Interior designers with a strong interest in cabinetry and client-facing sales are encouraged to apply. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys being customer-facing and understands how to balance elevated design with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design custom cabinetry solutions using industry-standard design software
- Lead cabinet-focused client consultations, guiding customers through layouts, finishes, hardware, and functionality
- Confidently present cabinetry options, pricing, and value-driven upgrades
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and high-quality 3D renderings
- Coordinate with internal sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and aligned with project requirements
- Prepare detailed material, finish, and hardware specifications for quoting and ordering
- Revise designs based on client feedback, site measurements, or construction conditions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cabinet lines, finishes, hardware systems, and design trends
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes and construction standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cabinet design, cabinet sales, or a related design field is a plus!
- Comfortable in a sales-supportive, client-facing role, including presenting pricing and guiding purchasing decisions
- Proficiency in cabinet design software such as 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision, or similar programs is advantageous!
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, finishes, and hardware is a plus!
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Polished communication style and professionalism suited for a high-end clientele
- High school diploma required
- Design certification or degree desired but not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
