INTERIOR DESIGNER / DECORATOR

LUX Design Sarasota is seeking an INTERIOR DESIGNER to become a part of our growing team! With 15 years of experience in Canada, LUX Design has become a well appointed name that is in its early stages in Florida. Become one of our first designers but be part of our team. A great growth opportunity. You will meet with clients and create Interior Designs that are aesthetically exceptional and functional. We have a great demand in Sarasota / Siesta Key / St Pete's / Tampa area!

Core Responsibilities:

Meet with Clients for Initial Design Consultations and Perform site visits

Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client

Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for construction

Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space

Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships

Prepare sketches / renderings and documentation for client presentation

Qualifications:

Previous experience in interior design or other related fields

Familiarity with Photoshop, AutoCad, or other design software

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
