Interior Designer FF&E

We are currently recruiting for an FF&E designer to join our award winning interior design practice.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with excellent design, specification and delivery skills to join a dynamic, ambitious and growing Dubai based interior design team working on high end projects throughout the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume an assistant role in design presentations in communicating with clients and ensure that format is compatible with office and client standards/requirements
• Help develop and execute the FF&E direction for overall project and communicate to the project team
• Communicate project status to senior FF&E designer on a regular basis and develop and maintain communication with all project team members, including the operations director
• Attend site meetings and assist in the process of reviewing the project
• Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget
• Liaising with design and purchasing teams to ensure FF&E is in line with client expectations and to budget
• Working on project 'fit outs' and overseeing the installation of FF&E alongside contractors - involving stays away from home
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of FF&E design standards for the company
• Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
• Assisting with relevant social media and marketing tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to establish logical action plans to complete work and provide technically sound solutions within deadline and budget constraints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign and/or equal program for the production of drawings, mood boards and presentation material
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast paced, deadline orientated environment
• Exceptional customer focus with an emphasis on quality
• Strong ability to resolve issues utilizing sound judgement and reasoning skills
