Interior Designer – Fit-Out

We’re looking for a hands-on Interior Designer who can read and interpret drawings, manage execution on site as per drawings, verify quantities, perform quality checks, and coordinate closely with the site and contractor teams. Attention to every detail is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Read, interpret and work from architectural, structural and MEP drawings (prepare shop/as-built drawings where required).
• Execute interiors as per drawings and ensure field work matches design intent.
• Perform site quality checks and punch-list inspections; ensure workmanship meets specs and finishes are correct.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and verify material/finish quantities against drawings and BOQ.
• Coordinate daily with site teams, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Produce and maintain detailed drawings, shop drawings, RFI’s and progress reports.
• Ensure all details are checked carefully — finishes, tolerances, junctions, fixtures, services penetrations, clearances.
• Monitor progress vs schedule and raise concerns/mitigations proactively.
• Enforce site safety and quality processes; document non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support procurement with accurate specifications and drawings.

Required skills & qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, or relevant discipline.
• 2+ years experience on interior fit-out projects with site knowledge.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs / BOQ verification.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills; able to lead contractors and site teams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Good command of MS Office; basic knowledge of project management tools (preferred).
• Valid driving license.
