Interior Designer II

About Aline Studio: Aline Studio, Ltd. is a New York-based interior design firm specializing in multi-family, hospitality and high-end residential projects.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Interior Designer II to join our team in New York, NY. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept through completion and collaborating with clients, contractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

· Produce construction documents using CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketchup, VRay)

· Confer with clients on design factors including space planning, furnishings and color coordination

· Coordinate with architects, contractors and engineers

· Review and detail shop drawings; conduct on-site inspections in the New York area

· Oversee all FF&E selections including fabrics, lighting, tile, plumbing and accessories

· Develop and present multiple design concepts tailored to client preferences

· Ensure designs comply with ADA requirements and incorporate sustainable materials where feasible

· Conduct site surveys and produce as-built AutoCAD drawings

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Master’s degree accept in lieu of some experience)

· 24 months of experience in the design or architectural industry

· Experience with multi-family, hospitality and/or high-end residential projects

· Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketchup), Adobe Creative Studio, Studio Webware or similar and Microsoft Office or Google Suite

· Compelling portfolio demonstrating design creativity and technical execution, including completed construction documents

· Knowledge of FF&E, construction detailing, specifications and current design trends

Pay: $65,500.00 - $70,000.00 per year
