Job Description – Junior Interior Designer (Internship)

Location: Palarivattom
Duration: 6 Months
Stipend: ₹5,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate Junior Interior Designer Intern to join our design team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real projects, client interactions, material selections, and site coordination. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, commitment, and learning ability will be considered for permanent employment after the internship period.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing concepts, layouts, and presentations.
• Support in preparing 2D drawings, 3D visuals, and mood boards.
• Coordinate with vendors for material samples, quotations, and approvals.
• Participate in site visits to understand measurements, progress, and design implementation.
• Assist in preparing project documentation and client presentations.
• Maintain project files, design references, and documentation in an organized manner.
• Collaborate with the design and project team to ensure timely delivery of tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field (students or freshers can apply).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp/3D modeling, and MS Office.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
