Compensation

• Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)

About Us

We are an active real estate investment and development firm based in Brooklyn, focused on acquiring and renovating 1–5 family properties and townhouses.

Our projects include full gut renovations, high-end townhouse finishes, and condo conversions. We are looking for a designer who understands how to create clean, modern, and marketable finishes that sell quickly and maximize value.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to handle finishes and selections across multiple renovation projects. This role is focused on practical, buildable design — not just concepts.

You will work closely with our team and contractors to ensure designs are executed efficiently and align with budget, timeline, and resale goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Select finishes for renovation projects (kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, paint, lighting, etc.)
• Design layouts and provide clear, buildable plans
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers
• Create mood boards and finish packages for each project
• Source materials, fixtures, and products (cost-effective and high-end where needed)
• Ensure designs are practical, code-compliant, and aligned with construction timelines
• Visit job sites and oversee design execution

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design (residential renovations preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction and renovation process
• Experience selecting kitchen, bathroom, tile, lighting, and plumbing finishes
• Ability to balance design with budget and resale value
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• NYC townhouse or renovation experience is a strong plus
