ABOUT THE FIRM
Studio Bloom is proud to partner again with one of our favorite clients, a full-service interior design studio based in Menlo Park.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative, self motivated, and goal oriented Junior Interior Designer with impeccable attention to detail to join a collaborative and passionate firm. You will work closely with a small design team on all aspects of design and project management. We are looking for someone eager to continue learning, evolving and growing as a Designer.
This is an onsite role based in Menlo Park, CA. The ability to work both in-office and travel to project site meetings is required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

Support the design and implementation of high-end residential projects from concept through completion.

Develop detailed technical drawings and models using AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Contribute to the development of design concepts, including furniture and finish selections, custom furniture development, and sourcing materials such as finishes, plumbing fixtures, and decorative hardware.

Support the preparation of client-facing materials, including drawings, mood boards, material flat lays, and visual presentations.

Assist Senior Designers with project scopes, including prioritization, budget oversight, timelines, and scheduling.

Maintain clear and effective internal communication and provide regular project updates.

Collaborate and coordinate with vendors, architects, general contractors, builders, and tradespeople to ensure all design elements are executed seamlessly and according to plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
This is a full-time position with standard office hours of 9:00 - 5:00pm, but flexibility is required for occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.

Reside in the San Francisco Bay Area with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. This position is in Menlo Park.

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

2+ years of residential interior design experience required. Accepting Intermediate designer candidates as well.

Proficiency with a Mac, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), Studio, Canva and Google Workspace.

Strong knowledge in material sourcing, specifications, custom furnishings, construction and renovations preferred.
