Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for interior projects including remodeling and renovation.
• Develop detailed design concepts using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to create compelling visual presentations.
• Prepare accurate drafting and technical drawings with Bluebeam and CAD software to communicate design intent clearly.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively through strong project management skills to ensure seamless execution.
• Source and select materials, lighting fixtures, and furnishings that align with color theory principles and client preferences.
• Present design proposals confidently to clients, emphasizing lighting sales opportunities and innovative lighting solutions.
• Oversee the construction or remodeling process by coordinating with contractors, ensuring adherence to specifications, contracts, and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits during renovation phases to monitor progress, quality control, and resolve any issues promptly.
• Build lasting client relationships through exceptional service, follow-up communication, and personalized design solutions that exceed expectations.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing residential or commercial projects involving remodeling or renovation.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential for creating detailed designs and presentations.
• Solid understanding of project management principles including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
• Knowledge of lighting design principles coupled with experience in lighting sales to enhance project aesthetics and functionality.
• Familiarity with drafting standards, contracts management, construction processes, and building codes related to interior projects.
• Strong communication skills for engaging clients effectively while demonstrating expertise in interior design concepts such as color theory and space planning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
