This is a senior-level interior design position requiring both hands-one design execution and team leadership.

Krista + Home, led by renowned designer Krista Alterman, is the luxury interior design division of Vesta Home for the state of Florida. We design for discerning clients who expect excellence, discretion, and deeply considered spaces—homes that feel elevated, effortless, and intentional. Our portfolio spans high-end private residences, custom builds, and large-scale luxury projects across Florida, the Bahamas, Barbuda, and Mexico. Our work has been featured in The New York Times and Architectural Digest, including projects for high-profile clients such as professional athletes.

We are growing quickly and seeking a Lead Interior Designer who can lead projects, guide a team, and fully own the design from first client meeting through final installation.

What You’ll Do

Design Leadership

• Lead creative direction and concept development for high-end residential projects
• Translate design vision into detailed AutoCAD drawings including plans, elevations, and finish documentation
• Curate refined material palettes, furnishings, lighting, and finishes with a luxury lens
• Produce polished, compelling client presentations

Client Experience

• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the design process
• Guide clients through decisions with confidence, clarity, and ease
• Represent the Krista + Home brand with professionalism, warmth, and discretion
• Advocate for the client’s vision through construction, procurement, and installation

Team & Collaboration

• Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless execution
• Mentor and elevate junior designers, setting the standard for quality and consistency
• Review team work product to ensure accuracy, cohesion, and design integrity

Execution & Operations

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing detail
• Maintain timelines, deliverables, and workflows in Asana
• Coordinate drawings, revisions, and approvals across internal teams
• Be present during installation to ensure flawless delivery

What You Bring

• 3–6+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design
• AutoCAD proficiency, delivrering elevations and floor plans
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and space planning
• Confident communicator and presenter with clients and internal teams
• Natural leader who elevates the people around them
• Calm under pressure, highly organized, and execution-focused
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Design Manager, Slack, and Asana is a plus
