Interior Designer – Short-Term Rental Properties

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team on a contract basis, with the potential for ongoing, consistent work. You'll be designing and styling vacation and short-term rental properties that need to stand out, photograph beautifully, and deliver an unforgettable guest experience — including themed and immersive concepts.

What You'll Do

• Design spaces for short-term rental properties in the Kissimmee/Davenport area, following our STR design standards while bringing your own creative vision to each project
• Source furniture, décor, and materials within budget — including sourcing and negotiating with a vendors (cleaners, handymen, photographers)
• Coordinate with clients on vision, scope, and approvals
• Present vision boards internally and a simplified version to clients
• Oversee and assist with on-site installation and hands-on project work
• Coordinate final staging, cleaning, and photography to ensure each property is fully guest-ready
• Complete thorough expense reports and maintain a detailed property information sheet for each project
• Optional: take on travel projects outside the local area

What We're Looking For

• 2–5+ years of interior design experience preferred; entry-level candidates with an exceptional portfolio and the right personality are welcome
• Experience with short-term rental, hospitality, or residential design is a strong plus
• Ability to execute themed and immersive design concepts that elevate the guest experience
• Comfortable with hands-on, on-site work — this role goes beyond planning
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage budgets, timelines, and documentation
• Strong communicator who can present ideas clearly to both internal teams and clients
• Degree or certification in Interior Design preferred but not required

Compensation

• Contract/project-based (rate negotiable based on experience)
