Interior Designer/2 years experience required

We are looking for a creative, skilled, and passionate Designer to join our growing team.

Position Summary:

As a Designer, you will play a key role in transforming our clients' visions into reality. Collaborating closely with homeowners, contractors, and the project management team, you will design spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional—while staying within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential remodeling, a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for current design trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences for remodeling projects. Provide design guidance and advice to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Design Development: Create detailed design concepts, layouts, floor plans, and 3D renderings for remodeling projects, ensuring they are both functional and visually appealing.
  • Material & Product Selection: Research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures to meet design goals and client preferences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure design intent is properly executed and that any design adjustments during construction are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Budget Management: Develop design solutions that align with the client’s budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and style.
  • Permit and Code Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and presentation materials for client approval. Maintain accurate design records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Finish Material Spreadsheets: Compile and submit finish material spreadsheets to the ordering department, including all selections, quantities, and finalized decisions. Store all material selections in the Sembro Design and Supply Google Drive account for easy access and reference.
  • Site Visits & Inspections: Attend site visits during construction to ensure design accuracy and quality control. Provide support and advice to contractors and homeowners as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
