Interior Designer/Furniture Sales

Position Summary

Join our growing showroom team as an Interior Designer / Furniture Sales Consultant, where creativity meets collaboration. In this consultative sales role, you'll work one‑on‑one with clients to design personalized living spaces while building long‑term relationships and driving sales.


Whether you come from interior design, retail sales, or a customer‑focused background with a passion for style, we provide the tools, training, and support to help you succeed and grow your career at Stickley.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with clients to design functional, beautiful interiors tailored to their lifestyle
  • Drive sales by guiding customers through product selection, layouts, fabrics, and finishes
  • Build lasting client relationships through exceptional service and follow‑up
  • Meet and exceed individual and showroom sales goals
  • Stay knowledgeable about Stickley products, design trends, and materials
  • Collaborate with showroom leadership and design teammates
  • Maintain an inviting, well‑organized showroom environment

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to generate and close sales in a customer‑focused environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for design, fashion, or home décor
  • Ability to work a retail schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic comfort using computers, POS systems, or design tools

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Background in interior design, furniture sales, or luxury retail
  • Experience with consultative or commission‑based sales
  • Design education or coursework
  • Knowledge of residential space planning
