Interior Designer / Project Coordinator

New Perspective Design is a luxury residential interior design firm seeking a detail-oriented Interior Designer / Project Coordinator to support the technical development and execution of our high-end residential projects.

This role is ideal for a career designer who enjoys the technical side of design — producing drawings, renderings, cabinetry layouts, and material specifications — and wants hands-on experience working alongside builders and trades on full-home renovations and new construction projects.

You will help translate design concepts into precise, buildable documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Develop floor plans, elevations, and drawing sets in Chief Architect
• Produce 3D interior and exterior renderings
• Assist with cabinetry design, specification, and quoting
• Prepare construction-ready installation drawings
• Support material selections including lighting, plumbing, countertops, and finishes
• Conduct site measurements and verify field conditions
• Coordinate with builders, installers, and vendors
• Support project timelines related to drawings, approvals, and ordering

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Proficiency in Chief Architect (required)
• Experience in cabinetry specification and quoting
• Ability to produce technical drawings and renderings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
• 2+ years of residential interior design experience
