Interior Designer/Sales Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Interior Designer/Sales Professional to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will combine your passion for innovative interior design with your enthusiasm for client engagement to create inspiring spaces that reflect our clients’ visions. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the design process, providing expert advice on lighting, remodeling, and renovation projects, and delivering exceptional sales support. Your energy and creativity will help transform spaces while building lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, translating ideas into compelling interior designs.
• Develop detailed design concepts using software tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to create visual presentations and technical drawings.
• Prepare accurate project proposals, budgets, and contracts while managing project timelines and resources effectively through project management skills.
• Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, lighting fixtures, and furnishings that align with their aesthetic and functional requirements, emphasizing lighting sales and color theory principles.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of remodeling and renovation projects within budget and schedule.
• Conduct site visits to oversee progress, perform quality control inspections, and troubleshoot any issues related to construction or design implementation.
• Stay current on industry trends in interior design, lighting design, CAD drafting, and new product offerings to provide innovative solutions that meet client expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design with proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards, CAD techniques, color theory, lighting design principles, and remodeling processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines through effective project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and collaborating with team members across various disciplines.
• Knowledge of contracts law related to interior design projects along with budgeting expertise for accurate cost estimation.
• Experience in sales—particularly lighting sales—and a passion for helping clients select the perfect products for their space renovations.
• Familiarity with construction processes including renovation planning and coordination with contractors is highly desirable. Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
