Interior Finishing Engineer

Job Duties:

· Site Supervision

o To maintain quality of all civil work, to monitor timely progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards

o To prepare checklists for all activities

o Getting the work done on site in time to achieve the targets

o May direct construction and maintenance activities at site

o May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents

· Responsibilities

o Should handle Interior & finishing works in the assigned project/s

o Coordinates program activities design to manage high end floor finishes, joinery works, wall finishes, facades, structural glazing, wall claddings, interior works, etc. from conceptual stage through life cycle of project.

o Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of contractors, subcontractors and consultants and resolves problems in area of finishing to ensure meeting of contractual commitments.

o Monitor performance of contractors and suppliers

o To implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for projects

o To carry out Technical supervision of ongoing Civil & Finishing work at all stages

o Guide / Instruct Junior engineer / Supervisor to prepare required fields and reports pertaining to project

o To check the quality of all the materials received on site and prepare quality reports, defects, if any

o To check the stacking and storage of materials in various godowns and stores of the site with neatness

o To coordinate testing of materials wherever applicable and ensure specified quality standards are adhered to

o To coordinate with different contractors, agencies to maintain and improve quality of construction work

o To prepare MIS on monthly basis, monthly consumption reports, daily progress report, etc

Job Specifications:

· Must have thorough knowledge of various building norms, material specifications, market costing

· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, checking quantity and other techniques for minimizing the costs as well as time required

· Excellent communication, negotiation skills, mathematical skills & problem solving abilities

· Must be updated latest market trends and technology advances applicable to the field of Construction industry in order to complete project in stipulated time

Experience and Education:

• B.E/ B. Tech ( Civil)/ Diploma
• Minimum 7 - 15 yrs experience
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
• Knowledge of structural design and engineering techniques
• Able to read Architectural drawings/ RCC drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
