Job Title: Purchase Engineer – Interior Fit-OutJob Summary
The Purchase Engineer – Interior Fit-Out is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, finishes, and subcontract services required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely delivery, cost control, quality compliance, and alignment with project specifications and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers for interior fit-out materials and services.
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and conduct technical & commercial comparisons.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties to achieve best value.
- Develop and maintain an approved vendor list for fit-out materials and trades.
Materials & Scope Coverage
- Procure materials such as:
- Joinery, furniture, and cabinetry
- Flooring, ceilings, wall finishes
- Glass, aluminum, metal works
- MEP-related fit-out items
- Ensure all purchases comply with drawings, BOQs, specifications, and authority approvals.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, designers, and QS teams for material approvals and schedules.
- Track procurement schedules to meet project milestones and avoid delays.
- Expedite materials and follow up on delivery status.
Cost Control & Documentation
- Prepare purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies.
- Monitor budgets and report cost variances or savings.
- Maintain complete procurement documentation (POs, subcontracts, delivery notes, invoices).
- Support variation pricing and value engineering initiatives.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure materials meet quality standards and approved samples.
- Coordinate inspections, mock-ups, and material approvals when required.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- 1–7 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and fit-out trades.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
