Intermediate Account Clerk
Town of Lewisboro Finance Department
The Town of Lewisboro Finance Department is accepting applications for an Intermediate Account Clerk to support the daily operations of the Finance Office. This position will initially be Part Time and will transition to Full Time.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll
- Enroll new employees in payroll system
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Complete retirement reporting
- Perform clerical, data entry, and other finance-related administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience in finance or accounting
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to accurately handle confidential financial information
- Must be eligible to sit for the Intermediate Account Clerk Civil Service Exam (required)
Position Details
- Schedule: 17½ hours per week, worked over a minimum of three days on a fixed schedule
- Status: Position will begin as part-time with the expectation of transitioning to full-time
- Compensation: $38.57 per hour
