Intermediate Interior Designer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Intermediate Interior Designer
• 5+ years of AutoCAD experience with strong technical drafting skills
• Strong knowledge of cabinet design, millwork details, and interior construction
• Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling
• Experience in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and the internal design team

Primary Responsibilities

• Draft detailed cabinetry and millwork drawings
• Develop highly detailed drawing and documentation sets that are clear and comprehensive
• Prepare comprehensive finish plans and space planning layouts
• Develop material boards, concept presentations, and design packages
• Fixture and finish selections, including sourcing and specification
• Produce accurate and organized fixture and finish schedules
• Coordinate with vendors, trades, and consultants as needed
• Conduct Site Visits
• Assist in analyzing design objectives in accordance with clients’ needs
• Provide input in creation of design concepts
• Material selections
• Prepare material specifications
• Support the design team throughout all phases of the project

Job Type: Full Time

Compensation: $70,000 a year

Benefits: Paid time off: vacation pay, sick pay, holiday pay, 401K

Schedule: Monday – Friday + Overtime

Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Intermediate Interior Designer is required

*The ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a bonus*
