Intermodal Clerk/Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Intermodal Clerk / Customer Service Representative to support daily terminal operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has experience in intermodal transportation.

The ideal candidate will have experience using the VIT port ProPass system and Trinium, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members, customers, and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist with customer requests, driver concerns, and general inquiries
• Perform order entry, scheduling, and dispatch system updates
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain organized records through sorting, filing, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with customers and drivers via phone and email
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the intermodal transportation industry
• Knowledge of intermodal trucking operations and procedures
• Experience with VIT port ProPass system and Trinium preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with drivers, customers, and team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
