Intermodal Customer Service

R&M Trucking Co. is a family owned and operated company that has proudly served the local air and ocean freight forwarding, as well as common carrier LTL service industry for the past 45 years! R&M's main office is located in Bensenville, Illinois, however an additional intermodal terminal is located in Elwood, Illinois.

Job Responsibilities: Intermodal Customer Service

• Promptly respond to customer inquiries such as pricing, product information, shipments, and orders, and enter data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Schedule appointments and communicate any delays with shipments.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customer base.

Required Skills

• Experience in intermodal trucking preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Professionalism, patience, and "people-first" attitude.
• Ability to type and enter data at the required speed
• Familiarity with MS Office and data programs
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
• High school diploma

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Average 8.5 to 9 hour shifts
• Start times available anywhere from 7am-9am
• Overtime after 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
