Intermodal Office Clerk/Dispatch

Job Summary
Join our dynamic transportation team as an Intermodal Office Clerk/Dispatch! Responsibilities

• Collect and scan driver paperwork and reconcile driver payroll.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Support shipping & receiving activities by scheduling pickups and deliveries, managing freight documentation, and ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, freight movements, and related logistics data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Assist in fleet management tasks by coordinating vehicle availability, tracking maintenance schedules, and supporting logistics planning efforts.

Requirements

• Experience with transportation management systems such as Profit Tools, Transportation Management or similar platforms.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
• Familiarity with freight operations, dispatching procedures, and shipping & receiving processes within a logistics environment helpful.
• Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for effective interaction with drivers, clients, and team members.
• Proficiency in data entry using systems like AS400 or SyteLine; high typing accuracy is essential.
• Knowledge of fleet management practices including GPS tracking and transportation planning strategies.
• Ability to multitask efficiently using multi-line phone systems while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Pay: $27,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
