Intermodal/Port Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Intermodal Driver with a valid TWIC card to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of driving experience in intermodal operations and a passion for sharing their knowledge by training and mentoring other drivers.

Duties

• Safely transport intermodal freight to and from ports, rail yards, and customer locations.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely logs and reports.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to new or less experienced drivers on intermodal operations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an intermodal driver.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class A.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Strong knowledge of intermodal logistics and port operations.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
