Human Resources Intern – JF Shea Corporate


We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources intern to assist our Corporate HR team with administrative and HR-related responsibilities.

The Position:

The Human Resources Intern will assist our Corporate HR department in providing effective and timely support to team members, as well as taking ownership of day-to-day HR administrative tasks while remaining flexible and responsive to other administrative tasks as required. This position will work out of our Walnut office.


Responsibilities:


  • Learn about the Company’s HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR related topics to be able to assist with responses to internal inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to assist with HR initiatives and processes.
  • Assist in video editing alongside our Training Specialist.
  • Prepare and participate in industry-related market compensation surveys.
  • COVID tracking and administration of safety guidelines/protocols across the company.
  • Research industry tools, concepts, methodologies, and theories that align with overall department and business imperatives and present those findings.
  • Assists with the maintenance of employee records.
  • Help in organizing company events and corporate activities.
  • Recommend and provide feedback on how to improve various HR processes.
  • Support external and internal audits.
