Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, process improvement, and engineering support within a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. The primary role will be to will support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices and to work with the Engineering team to research and identify equipment qualification requirements and categorize machinery. The Intern will gain knowledge on equipment through requalification through a focused project to remediate legacy issues and bring them to current state.

Duties:

  • Perform extensive research and setup a matrix on current state of the plant manufacturing equipment.
  • Author new protocols in efficient manner to requalify equipment as needed.
  • Execute the protocols and write reports showing acceptance or deviations in an accurate, efficient manner.
  • 10% of the time- Other duties as opportunities arise to harness the educational background of the intern and maximize their experiences in fields of interest.

Qualifications:

  • Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in an engineering, science or technology field.
  • Grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • MS office preferred.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Computer and word processing skills- Above average to excellent required

Hourly Range: $23.00 - $25.00
