Summary:

AgReserves, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and inquisitive  Land Intern to support our Land and Natural Resources team. The Intern will support the local team with projects involving water rights, land leases, environmental compliance, and government records, while contributing to strategic initiatives across operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and organize documentation for water rights, land ownership, and permits.
  • Assist with agricultural land lease management, including tracking terms and compliance.
  • Participate in land use and environmental projects through data collection, mapping, and reporting.
  • Maintain and update internal databases and records.
  • Collaborate with legal, environmental, and operations teams to support project goals.
  • Help prepare materials and summaries for meetings with agencies.
  • Conduct policy and regulatory research for land and environmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Geography, Law, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS or database experience is a plus.
  • Interest in agriculture, land use, environmental policy, and government affairs.
  • Familiarity with land records, water rights, and permitting processes, and experience working with public agencies or regulatory bodies preferred.
  • Basic understanding of lease agreements or property management.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.
