Intern - Legal & Contracts

Responsibilities:

  • Good understanding of Indian as well as International Commercial Laws (including Contracts Law, Sale of Goods Act, Company Law, Competition Act, IT Act, FEMA, Consumer Laws, IPR Laws, Arbitration, FDI, International laws, IP laws, data privacy laws, etc.)
  • Drafting, reviewing, vetting and finalizing corporate agreements namely Joint venture agreement/collaboration agreements, service level agreements, software licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sales & supply agreements, consultancy agreements, service contracts with customers, vendors and other external parties.
  • Manage and maintain contracts depository and track lifecycle of the Contract (from request to execution).
  • Coordinate for stamp paper requisitions and contract execution.
  • Provide periodic update of agreement status to the management from time to time.
  • Identifies need for and implements new or updated Company directives/guidelines based on local/international legislation and directives.
  • Handling legal compliance related to the Company, its businesses, office establishments and all other compliances under labor compliances and other corporate laws.
  • Handle Intellectual Proprietary Rights (IPR) matters including prior search, registration, examination, risks mitigation in the contracts.
  • Good knowledge of MS office i.e., Excel, Power point & Word
