JOB
Will provide opportunities for job shadowing to develop a deeper understanding of servicing communities.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist at the Reference Desk as needed, which may include answering patron questions.Assist with registration of new patrons in the library database, checking in materials, shelving library materials, and assist patrons in locating materials on the shelves.Shadow librarians in collection development.Assist with library programming, which may include children’s programming and offsite outreach events.Work evening and weekend hours.Other duties as assigned.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Applicants will be required to complete a Disclosure & Authorization Regarding Background Investigation, a Confidentiality Agreement and a criminal background screening.If driving, a driving history for the past three (3) years must reflect no violations of a driving related felony offense, or driving under the influence (DUI) which includes both drugs and alcohol, reckless driving, or hit and run involving an occupied vehicle or attended property, or an accumulation of traffic violations, plus three (3) points for each attendance at driving school (regardless of whether points were assessed against the license) where the penalty points do not exceed twelve (12).
