ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.

Dates: June 8 to August 14, 2026

Hours: 40 hours a week

Pay: $18 an hour

The Social Media Producer Intern supports the social media team in creating, organizing, and publishing content across platforms. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn how social content is planned, produced, and distributed in a fast-paced media environment. You’ll get hands-on experience, not just “watch from the sidelines” work.

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

• Assist in the production and publishing of social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
• Support short-form video editing and basic content packaging for social
• Help write captions and social copy aligned with brand voice and platform best practices
• Assist with content calendars, scheduling, and asset organization
• Support on-set or live shoots as needed (coordination, notes, logistics)
• Monitor social trends and flag relevant ideas to the team
• Help track basic performance metrics and compile reports
• Ensure content is properly labeled, approved, and archived
• There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.

YOU HAVE:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university from a relevant program (communications, media, marketing, film, etc.)
• Recently graduated or expected graduation of summer 2026 or winter 2026.
• Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
• Social Platform Familiarity - Hands-on familiarity with major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) as a user, with awareness of content formats, creator behavior, and emerging trends.
• Basic knowledge of social platforms and short-form video
• Organized, reliable, and eager to learn
• Able to take direction and feedback well
• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
