Position Title: Intern, Marketing Communications
Department: Marketing
Location: Remote, must be located in the US and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time, 8 – 10 weeks

Each intern will own a dedicated project solving real business challenges. The internship will wrap up with a presentation on your learnings and the experience.

This role is also intended for a candidate who may be interested and available to continue part‑time work beyond the 8–10 week summer internship, supporting the Marketing team through the fall semester.


Overview:

The Marketing Communications Intern will support One Inc’s social media and internal communications efforts with a primary focus on content creation, publishing, and engagement across social platforms. This is a junior‑level, hands‑on internship designed for students or recent graduates who are interested in social media, brand storytelling, and digital marketing.

The intern will work closely with the Marketing team to help execute day‑to‑day social media activities, support internal communications, assist with content planning, and contribute ideas that help increase brand awareness and engagement. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, creative, organized, and excited to gain real‑world marketing experience.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with day‑to‑day social media posting and scheduling across platforms such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor
  • Support the creation of social media content, including captions, simple graphics, and employee spotlights
  • Help maintain and update content calendars, key dates, and marketing documents
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and basic trends
  • Collect and organize social media metrics to support monthly reporting
  • Support internal communications by helping update Intranet content as needed
  • Assist with social media support for events, such as tradeshows, company events, or recruiting initiatives
  • Research new social media trends or platforms and share ideas with the team

Skills needed:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Interest in social media, digital marketing, and brand communications
  • Familiarity with major social platforms (especially LinkedIn)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Comfortable learning new tools and taking feedback
  • Familiarity with basic AI tools and their use (such as AI‑assisted writing, content ideation, or productivity tools) is a plus

Education & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field
  • Undergraduate or graduate students welcome
  • Relevant coursework in social media marketing, digital marketing, communications, branding, or content creation is a plus
  • Ability and interest to continue part‑time work beyond the summer internship, through the fall semester
