Intern MERN Stack Developer

We are looking for a motivated and curious Intern MERN Stack Developer to join our team in Lahore. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience across the full web development lifecycle while working closely with experienced developers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN/PERN stack (MongoDB/Postgres, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js)
• Write clean, readable, and well-documented code under guidance
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior developers
• Help build and integrate reusable UI components
• Participate in debugging, testing, and improving application performance
• Support deployment processes and learn CI/CD best practices
• Stay curious and up-to-date with modern web development tools and trends

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of full stack web development concepts
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Some hands-on experience or coursework in React.js and Node.js
• Basic knowledge of Express.js and REST APIs
• Familiarity with MongoDB and/or Postgres
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback constructively
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic projects or personal projects using MERN/PERN stack
• Exposure to Git and version control workflows
• Interest in algorithms, data structures, or maps (e.g., Google Maps, Leaflet)
• Enthusiasm for building clean and user-friendly interfaces
• Basic awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus
