Intern-Public Relations

General Description

Students will have the opportunity to network and learn through experienced leaders and employees at Toho Water Authority (Toho). Toho is the largest provider of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services in Osceola County. We are looking for a public relations intern for Summer 2026 and/or Fall 2026 interns who will assist in executing innovative communication strategies and event management to help spread the message “Trust that Toho Cares.”

Essential Functions

• Work with graphic design team member to create custom content
• Coordinate community events
• Create content for social media
• Author news releases, newsletters, and web content
• Develop a professional portfolio from your experience
• Video production
• Event management
• Public speaking
• Work with an awesome team!
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Love water!
• Junior or Senior
• Minimum 3.3 GPA
• Social media platform experience
• Advertising/Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Artist or related majors preferred
